Kelli J. Robison, M.S., OTR, Occupational Therapist
Kelli Robison received her Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia in 1993. She established Helping Hands, Inc. in May 2001. Kelli has worked in a variety of pediatric settings including NICU, acute care, outpatient, and home-based early intervention. She has experience working with medically fragile infants, complications from prematurity, feeding, neuromotor problems, sensory processing, and splinting. She is trained in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) of children with cerebral palsy. She is also a Certified Infant Massage Instructor, is certified by the Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Institute, and is a NARHA registered therapist in Hippotherapy.
Lisa Bazzano, M.A. CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist
Lisa Bazzano is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatrics. Lisa received her M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Memphis in 1992. She completed her Clinical Fellow Year in 1993 with a specialization in pediatrics. Upon completion of her clinical fellowship year, Lisa worked in Fulton County Schools for 2 years, Children's Health care of Atlanta for 8 years, and is currently in private practice. Lisa is also a Hanen Certified Speech-Language Pathologist and has taught classes to parents on implementing language intervention strategies in the home environment. Major focus has been in providing Speech-Language assessments and therapy to children in the birth to three population that have a wide range of developmental, neurological, and oral motor/feeding difficulties (motor and sensory based). Specific training to parents and families on implementing therapy techniques in the natural environment is an integral part of Lisa's therapy approach.
Lisa H. Shaw, B.S.P.T., Physical Therapist
Lisa Shaw is a licensed physical therapist with eight years experience treating children with developmental disabilities. She received her B.S.P.T. from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga after which she relocated to Winston-Salem , North Carolina to work at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center (WFUBMC). At WFUBMC, Lisa worked three years in pediatric inpatient rehabilitation followed by five years working in the outpatient clinic. During this time, she took a lead role on a strategic planning task force at WFUBMC examining service delivery models to provide the best therapy and outcomes for children with disabilities. She provided local inservices to colleagues on various pediatric therapy topics and in the clinic setting and served as a clinic instructor for student physical therapists. Following a family move to Atlanta , Georgia in 2004, Lisa began providing pediatric physical therapy to children in their homes and other natural environments. She also serves as a p.r.n. therapist for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite in acute care. In 2004, she completed training in Neurodevelopmental Treatment. In addition, some of her specialties include developmental evaluations, wheelchair and seating assessments, adaptive equipment, splinting and orthotic fabrication including Cascade DAFOs, serial casting, aquatic therapy, and TheraTogs TM . She has extensive experience working with infants and children with cerebral palsy, developmental delay, torticollis, congenital and acquired neurological and neuromuscular disorders, as well as genetic and metabolic syndromes. Her professional affiliations include membership in the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association and the American Physical Therapy Association. She enjoys working part time while also mothering her two year old daughter and is expecting a son in November 2006.
